Cooinda Lodge Kakadu has two outdoor swimming pools, including a shallow-end pool for children and a fenced pool with sun loungers. The lodge operates its own private airstrip for scenic flights over Kakadu National Park, bookable at reception. Mimi's Restaurant serves dishes using local ingredients, cooked by an Indigenous chef, and offers a breakfast buffet with fresh juice and DIY vegetable juice station. Barra Bistro provides pub-style meals such as kangaroo burger, croc burger, and grilled barramundi. Both venues offer kid-friendly buffet options and a selection of local wines and beers.

Located inside Kakadu National Park, Cooinda Kakadu is 1 km from the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and within walking distance of the Yellow Water Billabong. The lodge organises sunrise and sunset Yellow Water cruises that spot crocodiles and birdlife, departing from the property. Guests can also book a 60-minute flight over Kakadu from the private airstrip or join a 4WD Adventure Tour with knowledgeable guides.

Family-Friendly

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu has a children's playground and outdoor play equipment, plus a separate kids' pool with shallow end and safety fencing. The family rooms include bunk beds and space for four, while the lodge offers kid-friendly buffet and kids' meals at both restaurants.
